PC launched its first online campaign to generate more Facebook page “Likes”. I designed the look and feel from scratch starting with a series of comps in Illustrator and Photoshop to establish the visual design while collaborating with the team. I also helped with the text copy and call to action.

The Twitter page and online adverts are also designed with the same branding as the Project Crayons website design i.e. engaging photography focused on the children, the crayon lines as borders and the coloured text highlights in the strap line(s).

I’ve recently had the opportunity to do front end web development on the Magento eCommerce platform for one of Incisive Media’s brands. It’s been a great experience working with our developers. My role has been primarily contributing my CSS, HTML , Photoshop and basic PHP skills.

I had the chance to work on a visual version of my cv/resume. It was really fun and caused me to re-think and better organise the key points in my skills set and background.

This is the intro I did for a digital media class in audio and video. The video footage was shot using iPhone4; Adobe Premiere and Audacity were used to produce the video and audio. Photoshop was also used for creating the text slides.

I hope to re-shoot the remaining sequences for the entire video at a later time as the audio quality was not that good without an external microphone. It was alot of work just to produce the video with audio in the first place and I did not anticipate how important pre-production would be.

I plan to redo the rest of the video using pre-production tools such as story boarding, scripting and location scouting with more attention to curating the visuals in terms of exactly what I want in the frame – the setting, the lighting, the background noise, even down to what the person is wearing.

Initially Incisive Media Careers needed something for a Facebook Like page with a quick turn around and so we settled for an engaging image composed of assets that we already had as well as a bold type treatment. After a few weeks of testing the Facebook page, they came back with a request for a set of 5 pages, effectively a small micro-site.

Most of the work was done in PhotoShop, but Illustrator was used for vector art.

Photoshop and Illustrator were also used in the creative process.

This Facebook like page was created first as a comp using Illustrator and Photoshop in order to get sign-off on the design. Once approved I delivered a validated html/css coded version of the design which was later inserted into Facebook using their recommended iFrame widget.

These ads were created in Flash CS4 using the Action Script TransitionManager effect, PixelDissolve, as well as easing effects to give the text animation a sense of urgency.
