Children’s illustration

Design for Personal work.

The school assignment to create a children’s book spread prompted me to revisit the fantastic work of Henry Darger.

I also had recently been to the The Future Can Wait exhibition in the basement of the Shoreditch Town Hall and was fascinated with the sculptures, Paper Chain Dolls the Welsh Version by Wendy Mayer.

Added to mix were some Adobe Illustrator brushes and this was the result.
